ABOUT JOE
Joe’s athletic career has always been a family affair. His mother was asked to volunteer at his High School and became his first Track Coach to now his Wife Ashley has taken Joe to the highest levels in the history of the event. The most exciting news for the Kovacs Family is Joe and Ashley are expecting twin babies this November!
Joe and Ashley are very excited for their journey to Gold in Paris 2024. Kovacs has always had great support form family, sponsors and fans, but now are especially excited to bring their twin boy and girl along in the cheering squad.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Joe Kovacs is proud to have represented and Podium finished for the last 6 Global Championships for the United States of America.
Joe is 6 for 6 in bringing back hardware in Major championships. He intended to see this steak alive though the next three Olympic cycles.
Along with the Olympic and World Championship medals, Joe has also won two World Athletics Dimond League Trophies.

Nike endorsed Joe in 2012 out of Penn State. Joe represented Nike in his first World Championship Title in 2015 and during his first Olympics in Rio. Joe is very excited to be back representing Nike for the 2022 World Championships in Eugene and onward.

Duluth Trading Company partnered with Joe in 2020. Being a big guy, Joe has ripped through quite a few pants in his day. In 2017 he walked into a Duluth Trading Co store for the first time. He saw all the pants were engineered with gussets foe more room and reinforced. Joe instantly fell in love with the company and told all his friends about it the store. Joe even took his groomsmen to Duluth on the morning of his wedding to show them. Joe is very proud to partner with such a great company that has the big guys back.

Joe is extremely excited to partner with Rogue Fitness as a member of their Athlete Team. Rogue is the industry leader in Strength equipment and Joe uses their products for all his strength gains.

The New York Athletic Club is a private social and athletic club in New York City. Founded in 1868, the club has supported many sports, including rowing, wrestling, boxing, judo, fencing, swimming, basketball, rugby union, soccer, tennis, handball, squash, snooker, lacrosse and water polo.

Joe has been selected for grants from the USATF foundation for the past three years. Joe said, " It is a true honor to be selected for this grant. I thank the foundation for the support they give me and all of they help they give to all athletes they help keep the dream alive. Joe wants to especially thank Board member Steve Schwarzman for his continued support and friendships during Joe's Career.
